Dance Music News

New kids on the EDM block KREWELLA have unleashed the next installment in their visual catalogue with the video for their hard-hitting, dubstep-inspired track “Feel Me.” It premiered yesterday on VIBE.com and can now be viewed on their YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/krewella. In addition, the group has announced the second phase of their national Play Hard Tour for this fall.

For the track that appears on their #1 Beatport Play Hard EP, the video is a stark contrast to the piece for their viral single “Killin’ It,” clarifying it has become quite evident that the Krew have since exploded at a jaw-dropping pace from their humble beginnings at Chicago’s underground parties. Recapping their Los Angeles gigs from first leg of their Play Hard Tour from February, the visual sees the trio as they embark on their first routed tour through California. Five raging crowds and several bottles of Jameson later, KREWELLA emerged, having played at some of the most legendary parties in dance music including Hollywood’s Control at Avalon and Dim Mak Tuesday.

Beyond the wild parties, the “Feel Me” video shows KREWELLA’s Yousaf sisters exhibiting their performance prowess beyond the DJ booth. With ferociously swagged out verses from Yasmine, beautiful flowing melodies from Jahan and the always high-octane production from Rain Man, KREWELLA continues to show that they have something unique to offer. They are quickly gaining notoriety for their vocally driven brand of electronic dance music. “Feel Me” and other tracks from KREWELLA’s Play Hard are playing nationally at Sirius BPM and also spinning at stations in Las Vegas, Chicago, Denver, New York, Seattle and Delaware as well as online at Music Choice and AOL Dance radio.

Meanwhile, the new tour dates have KREWELLA criss-crossing across the U.S. for appearances at many of the country’s best clubs (San Francisco’s Ruby Skye, Miami’s Grand Central), amphitheatres (Red Rocks in Colorado, Salt Lake City’s Saltair Pavilion) and major festivals (Electric Zoo). In late November, the trio go down under to Australia to appear at several Stereosonic festivals.
