Ultra Music Festival And Ultra Music Announce Global Alliance
Ultra Music Festival and Ultra Music have joined forces and will be using each of their vast networks and resources to ensure ULTRA will entrench itself as the undisputed driving force behind the international electronic dance music (EDM) community in all aspects, it was announced, Friday, August 10 by Ultra Music Festival Co-Founder and CEO Russell Faibisch and Ultra Music President Patrick Moxey. With each company leading its respective industry, during a time when EDM has become a worldwide phenomenon, no other global brand can offer the experience and service to the EDM international fan as these two can, including niche platforms such as festivals/live events, film/video, live streams, record/music label, publishing, artist and event promotion, marketing and production. Working together, the synergy of these mega players ensures ULTRA will continue leading the way in all things EDM.
Patrick Moxey, President and Founder of Ultra Music states, “We are very excited about this new stage of collaboration between Ultra Music and Ultra Music Festival. Russell and his team are setting new high standards for live electronic music experiences with their festivals and we are proud to work with them with Ultra Music and our roster of electronic artists.”
“We are a very proud independent organization and it is critical that we stay true to the music and close to the roots of the culture that we have grown with over the last fifteen years,” adds Ultra Music Festival President Russell Faibisch. “While EDM seems to be the flavor of the month for many corporations buying their way into our scene, building this long term strategic alliance with Patrick Moxey and Ultra Music sets the stage for establishing ULTRA as the essential global lifestyle brand for the best of everything EDM has to offer,” Faibisch continues. “We believe working together with Ultra Music provides both companies with endless additional revenue potential by creating unique music content offerings to our worldwide fan base,” adds Adam Russakoff, Ultra Music Festival’s Director of Business Affairs.
On the festival/live event, video/film side, Faibisch has the legendary ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL in Miami, the world’s premiere electronic music festival held annually during MIAMI MUSIC WEEK, now spread throughout the world in four continents and six countries (ULTRA BRASIL, ULTRA BUENOS AIRES, ULTRA CHILE, ULTRA IBIZA, ULTRA KOREA, ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI) and expanding to new territories very quickly; UMF TV, the online YouTube channel featuring live streams from all ULTRA WORLDWIDE festivals, original episodes of exclusive festival/event content filled with backstage and behind the scenes footage and performances from the DJ booth to the dance floor; UMF RADIO, the weekly show on XM/Sirius and DI.FM, now on the air for more than seven years; and UMF FILMS, which has just released the highly acclaimed movie ‘Can U Feel It’ earlier this year, which has run in more than 500 theaters across North America, The Netherlands and Korea, and is currently being shown for FREE on UMF TV for a limited time.
“You can expect the absolute best festival experiences and live events being produced around the world. Cutting edge, innovative, fresh, engaging programming of live streams and original episodes on the world’s best EDM channel youtube.com/umftv, among many other new projects currently in the works,” states Faibisch.
